2. She would go even if it didn't change the outcome for Obama.
Except for the full start of the GE.

4. Wow. Read some of the comments under that article. Hillary is losing a lot of her fans.

5. She Tipped Her Hand Too Early

I think it's been clear for a while that she would do this. Since Texas, she's played the game of "toning down" for a day or two and then coming back with a vengeance. The pundits seem to fall for it no matter how many times she does it.

But suggesting this now may backfire on her. I think a number of superdelegates were buying into her "just wait a few more weeks for all the votes to be counted" comments. But this convention battle threat could scare the piss out of them. It may turn out that she herself scares them off the fence into committing before the rules meeting on the 31st.

7. That's how Bill became the 'Comeback Kid'.
I remember noticing it very early on in the '92 campaigning season. He'd suffer a slight blow, pretend to be crippled by it, and then make a 'miraculous' comeback just days later. It was transparent as fuck, but nobody else seems to have noticed it.

9. Oh I know exactly what you mean!
I was saying that to my husband recently that she and Bill have this way of taking a hit, acting contrite and humbled by it, and then storming right on past it as if it never happened, never for once with new perspective. It's so much like the perfect analogy I've seen used on here a few times--the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Every time he gets a limb chopped off, it's "but a flesh wound!" Ugh!

8. The Dem leadership have said time and again this will be over by the first week of June.
And I have no doubt in my mind that it will be. It is within their power to nip this bullshit in the bud, and they will if they have any hope of winning in November.

12. The Democratic Leadership doesn't have squat to say about it.

Harry Reid/Nancy Pelosi: "Hillary, it's time to quit."

Hillary: "Both of you, fuck off!"

End of conversation trying to get HRC to quit the race.

13. actually they do. you can stick your head in the sand all you want
but they hold the cards. Don't think Pelosi has a lot of sway over dem reps?. Want to be assigned to a certain committee, want your career to advance or buzz along smoothly? You want to please Pelosi. That's just practical politics. They want her out all they have to do is endorse and others will follow. And Nancy has made it clear who she's endorsing. It ain't hilly.

10. Superdelegates, NOW IS THE TIME.
Enough of this SHIT. She's not going out gracefully! She never will. This CANNOT go on until the freaking convention, it needs to STOP NOW!!

Meanwhile, McSame is laughing his wrinkly nuts off!

14. What bothers me is that she says she's doing it on behalf of the voiceless voters
in Florida and Michigan, who are "disenfranchised". Making herself appear as the protectorate of American democracy. I'd even respect her a little if she did it just for her own mercenary interests, leaving out "the voters".
