4. How long should we give her once June 4th comes about?
that is my issue. Most people who have spent a lot of time with children know that at some point you have to say NO. It is often a very fine line to walk -- is now the right time to put the foot down or am I being overly controlling? But at some point, the foot has to come down. It is a disservice to the child to let them feel that they can say anything and not be held to it, to feel they can always say 'but i meant....'

To me, Hillary is behaving just like this, there is always some new reason that she has, some new way that she can win, some new metric that we should all be considering because we all know that SHE thinks she is the best candidate and therefor she must rescue the nation from an uninformed public who hasn't rallied behind her YET.

However, if that's what you've been saying all along, then fine. Let's see what happens.

8. Seems to me that it's a lot deeper than Hillary's ego
I think she's trapped in this and she is not even calling the shots at this point. She's on a runaway train. There's a lot more riding on Hillary's candidacy than Hillary's delusions of grandeur IMO. I'm not saying she's not highly Narcissistic, just that there's more going on than meets the eye.

Both Hillary and her supporters are being used now. It's becoming very clear that she's not a megalomaniac-- she's just desperate to deliver America to her corporate backers, as promised. They will not be denied.

People who sell their souls often get caught in this situation of having to complete certain Herculean tasks, no matter how ridiculous, in order to pay the piper.

9. interesting . . .
but what happens if she says, "No."
What could they possibly do to her if she said, "Enough is enough"?

23. the only way she'd say enough is enough
Is if she physically or mentally lost it --breakdown of some kind. And even if she did that it would have to appear to be something else. She'd have to look like the loyal soldier falling down in his tracks. The captain going down with the ship. Heroic.

I think Hillary is a person driven by forces beyond her control.

19. It seems the DNC is appeasers. They know she will just move the goalposts again....
The DNC must stop coddling Hillary. The entire party is suffering because of their unwillingness to make her unhappy.

20. At which point, it will be "give her until the Convention"?
Sorry, I keep hearing "be nice to her; she just wants a graceful exit". Bullshit. She's like an alcoholic with "just a few more". She's not getting out on her own volition.

I hope you're right, but on June 4th I'm willing to bet she's still spouting the same gibberish.

5. I am getting sort of interested in how far she will go
Thinking about it all, one wonders if any thing will change DC. Greed is such a nice thing to so many there and the voters are so used to it. I think a great many voters like the deal of power and guns and ruling the world as the WH thinks it should and a man of peace and wanting a better US is not going to stop it. I am sure Hillary fits the pattern of what we have had and many voters see no other way. Just hear the calls on c-span and you can not help but think that many still live in the 40's and we are the only power in the world and it has to stay that way, plus all our other 40 and 50 sins. Hard to see if things can change with our thinking. Even when things do not work people stay with them in place of a new way, often. I often think we are being left behind as a good part of the world has just moved ahead of us.

7. Her still being in the race has actually helped him
I remember as recently as January I actually thought she was a normal person. The longer she stays in, the more she shows why he's the best choice.

One liners directed at the trailing candidate? Are you really this insecure?
