For once David Gregory made sense |
|
Just aired a piece about Obama punching up his numbers with "working class".
some suggestions from some expert or another was "class based affirmative action" "get his life story out there" "populist message" also - keep perspective.. a lot of the blowout numbers are more likely geographical rather than demographic
The suggestions were not half bad..

1. There's already class-based affirmative action. |
|
It exists at many institutions of higher learning, although I don't know about elsewhere. People from underprivileged families often get "points" added to their consideration for admission.
This is not some "new" idea.

...tries hard but just doesn't cut the mustard.
MSNBC has some good "in the field" reporters and even news anchors that I feel could do a better job.
And no, I don't mean Andrea Mitchell. Hell no.

What a shameless "ruling class PROMOTING shill" David Gregory has proven himself to be, i.e., pseudo-journalistic whore.

4. I do like the idea of class based affirmative action, but how do you use that for hiring decisions? |
|
How do we even categorize class? Is it based on how much money you are making? Or your net worth?
