There are plenty of valid criticisms of Obama, but I think most people agree that he's an awesome speaker.

5. He used the right tone of voice, got right to the points, inserted phrases

and vocabulary familiar in the Jewish lexicon. Remember, this is Robert Wexler's synagogue, so it was a friendly audience. I noticed a woman seated behind Barack, on the TV screen left. She was looking very conservative and did not give anything away by facial expressions. Very stoic. After a while, she was applauding with slight nods of approval at his statements. He repeated, to make clear, about the internet "Muslim" e-mails going on. He was great.
