Our Greatest American Draws the Line
from Wonkette (under the heading sociopath  )

"In other words, because she believes in the ideals of the Democratic party (and finding a cheating way to win), and civil rights (playing up sexism and gender issues so Obama can't win without her on the ticket), she will criticize a DNC agreement from last year stripping two states of their delegates (which she agreed was a great idea and her advisers created) with fair talking points (Obama is Bush and Scalia but worse/black) that her husband and campaign chairman have been saying from the start (opposite of that); if she gets the full delegations counted then the nation will rejoice in her epic victory (national suicide), if she doesn't then she'll drop out gracefully (absolutely go to the convention) and her supporters will all happily vote for Barack Obama (Bob Barr)."

3. You do not understand the picture nor the movie from which this
came. Here was a young lady that worked hard, and acheieved most of her goals in high school. The last goal was to be elected student body president. The election was all hers until a football player that had been injured, decided he wanted to run for it, and basically knew nothing. (sound familiar) He thought it was the right thing to do but then he the football highschool star realized he should not even be in the election. So, on the day of the student election he voted for her.

Now on the count and recount, the students tallied the votes and the young lady won by one...Now on the recount the teacher which hated, despised her took two votes from her and threw them away and thus by doing this, the football player won. But a funny thing happened, the janitor found the two tickets in the trash and took them to the prinicple and the race was given to the one that actually was qualified and she became the class president and the teacher, well his ass was fired......

so the votes from florida are being taken from her and should be added back just like in the movie you have a scene from....Yep......

Shalom
Ben David

5. The young lady was
thought she had it all sewn up until someone had the unmitigated gall to run against her, she was having an affair with a teacher, treated other people poorly and tried to sabotage her competitors campaigns (tearing down thier posters etc.) Whether or not she won, the parallels between her personality and Hillary's are stunning...

I've seen the movie

8. Yeah, you can't interfere with destiny ...
Edited on Fri May-23-08 01:12 AM by NewHampshireDem
Tracey Flick is Hillary Clinton:

"None of this would have happened if Mr. McAllister hadn't meddled the way he did. He should have just accepted things as they are instead of trying to interfere with destiny. You see, you can't interfere with destiny. That's why it's destiny. And if you try to interfere, the same thing's going to happen anyway, and you'll just suffer."

"Dear Lord Jesus, I do not often speak with you and ask for things, but now, I really must insist that you help me win the election tomorrow because I deserve it and Paul Metzler doesn't, as you well know. I realize that it was your divine hand that disqualified Tammy Metzler and now I'm asking that you go that one last mile and make sure to put me in office where I belong so that I may carry out your will on earth as it is in heaven. Amen."

"It's like my mom says, "The weak are always trying to sabatoge the strong." "

"You might think it upset me that Paul Metzler had decided to run against me but nothing could be further from the truth. He was no competition for me; it was like apples and oranges. I had to work a little harder, that's all, see I believe in the voters; they understand that elections aren't just popularity contests, they know this country was built by people just like me who work very hard and don't have everything handed to them on a silver spoon. Not like some rich kids who everybody likes because their fathers owns Metzlers cement and give them trucks on their 16th birthday and throw them big parties all the time. No, they don't ever have to work for anything. They think they can just all of a sudden one day out of the blue waltz right in with no qualifications what's so ever and try to take away what other people have worked very, very hard for their entire lives. No, it didn't bother me at all. "

"I don't know what you're referring to, but maybe if certain older, wiser people hadn't acted like such little babies, and gotten so mushy, then everything would be ok... and I think certain older people, like you, and your colleague, shouldn't be leching after their students, especially when some of them can't even get their own wives pregnant... and they certainly shouldn't be making slanderous accusations, especially when certain young, naive peoples' mothers are paralegal secretaries at the cities biggest law firm, and have won many successful law suits, and if you want to keep questioning me like this, I won't continue without my attorney present. "

Well, for once, I agree with Ben David.

9. Principal.
It's such an enlightening explanation on how to understand this movie correctly, I knew you wouldn't want to fuck it up with a misspelling.

12. There are no heroes in election
Paul Metzler has the advantage of being innocent, but is hardly heroic.

(go away) for everything she is doing to unify

(wreck) the party. Her sacrifies are so generous

(selfish) that she shall not be forgotten.

PS: The first thing that came to mind was this character from SNL.
