I'm sick and tired of the Clintons' whining about their being denied the presidency. Obama won the nomination. It's over. It's time to move on to campaigning against the Republicans.

9. I agree and would go farther to say it's Hillary, Bil AND the political machine which.. |
|
...they've cobbled together, tuned, more finely tuned, and so forth since the late 80's, early 90's.
If she doesn't win or place, that machine- well maybe it doesn't die- but it loses something important, some power source which they and it fear it may never reclaim. Which is why Carville, et al., who are other parts of that machine, are fighting so hard for it.

10. No, what's dumb is the constant whining from the Clinton campaign. |
|
I'm sick of it. The Clintons have erased much of the good will they enjoyed. They are wallowing in the mud now and its tedious to watch.
There is "staying in the campaign until all the votes are counted" and there is the "We're going to stomp our feet and holler and cry and hold our breaths until you give us what we want" behavior. The Clintons are taking the low road. As a U.S. citizen, a registered and consistent voter, a Democrat who voted for Bill Clinton both times and defended him constantly, I'm reporting that I am sick and tired of the Clintons. They no longer speak for me.
I have as much right to express my disgust with them as they have to clog the airwaves day in and day out accusing everyone else of racism, sexism, and mean behavior.

YEs, you have a right to express what you want. But when you're factually wrong, expect that to be pointed out.

for Hillary to win at this point, barring an unforeseen disaster taking Obama out of contention. Are the Clintons hoping for such a disaster to occur? Even if they are, it's unnecessary for them to behave in this manner.

28. Try not to get personal in your responses. |
|
Note how DU rules allow posters to criticize other's posts, but not the person. Statements like, "That's dumb" are fully acceptable. Statements like, "You don't seem to know that term means" come close to being personal insults. Now, one might argue that you are simply stating a fact - I don't seem to know what that term means. For all I know, you are posting this with a helpful, concerned intention. You are worried about the fact that I don't understand something, and you want to bring it to my attention so that I can help myself. Your intention is purely selfless and helpful.
Or perhaps not. Either way, though, you're getting kind of personal, in an invading-my-space sort of way. Let's agree to be a little more objective, a little more arm's length in our communications, ok?
I won't call you dumb or suggest that in other ways, and you won't call me dumb or suggest that in other ways. Deal?

... you try and try and try to get along and then one day it hits you: This person is. not. going. to. be. reasonable.
When you reach that epiphany, there's only one thing to do: cut them out of your life.
Hillary - AND her supporters - are giving the women's movement a self-inflicted black eye. It's amazing to me that they don't see that.
Let me restate that... it was amazing to me until I realized. These people are NOT going to be reasonable. Just quit talking to them. To the outer darkness with them, where there is much wailing and gnashing of teeth... they'll feel right at home.

I did that with righties ages ago. They simply don't exist in my universe... online or real world.

Until then, alas, the fight goes on.
A question for the Obama fans: How does Obama intend to build the military(he mentions this from time to time)without a draft? How does he feel about the draft? Why did he not serve when he was younger? What will he do about our Vets?
You guys really should focus on telling the rest of us what Obama will do about many problems--instead of sliming Hillary who is really the better candidate of the two.
