6. Correct. Plus, BO is getting all the publicity now due to the primary fight. |
|
When the primary is over, McCain's numbers are likely to go up even higher.

Obama is being attacked by the coalition of McCain, Bush, the Clintons and the rabid "I hope Obama loses" Clinton supporters like you. Once the Clintons are dragged kicking and screaming away from the nomination, he will have less people to fight.
Sorry to piss on your dreams of Obama losing though.

3. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" |
|
For entertainment purposes only at this early stage.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry when somebody cites a poll as a REASON why candidate X is better than candidate Y in state Z.
Silly stuff.

Many of them don't hold significant value until after Labor Day and the conventions.

7. Yup. When two are in a knife fight, it's not surprising that the third looks more cut-free. |

5. Look at the partisan breakdown in the Ohio poll |
|
28% - Republican 52% - Democratic
We can throw this poll in the trash. That partisan breakdown is not indicative of what we will see in the general election.

19. What, that he doesn't like the results? |
|
As it becomes clearer that Hillary is out, her supporters will start choosing Obama in these polls rather than a rebellious vote for McCain. And this will happen quickly, so these kinds of results aren't so unbelievable.
Some people just can't accept these results yet.

52% Dems, 28% Repubs, 18% Ind. polled in Ohio is a little suspect. That's a Democratic dream scenario at best.
