A lot of Obama supporters give me the cold shoulder. This irritates me.

Many Hillary supporters, on the other hand, actually respond to my threads and, even though some of those responses are sort of abusive, I like the attention.

Does this mean that I should switch my support to Hillary? I don't like being ignored by Obama supporters. I think I should punish Obama for this. You know what I mean?

Actually, I called her office, telling her to modify the Bush/Pelosi stimulus package so it would provide help to those who need it most - unemployment extension, increased food stamp funding, increased funding for LIHEAP, etc. Then I found that she gave a speech in my home state of South Carolina, praising the Bush/Pelosi stimulus package and claiming that it provided help to those who need it most. Way to catapult the propaganda Hillary, instead of fight the Bush administration.

can be insupportable when winning or losing big time. A natural sense of fear and insecurity heightens the swing to arrogance and invincibility. This is natural. What is most wrong is if a candidate themself calls forth and manipulates such weakness. There is a divide there between Obama and some of his fans. The guilt by association crowd is pretty evident in ignoring this and using that too as manipulatively as possible.

When a support base is used purposely to act this way, to whip up an emotional wall against reason and fact or the limits of mortal flesh, it is an abuse of that base and of democracy itself. Unfortunately, every campaign in the heat of contest is not "pure" in this regard, much less the personal loud mouthed bullies glorying in the sport.

Learn. Cast a studied eye on leaders and groups. Worship no mere human, debase no human competitor, build on the better things we share, the potential for change. Then imagine trying to make that plea in the GOP and count your blessings.
