A tale of two different approaches
Edited on Fri May-23-08 11:30 AM by Sundoggy
I'd like to make a point here. It's one of those simple, stunning ones.

I saw a post today from an Obama supporter agonizing over what he'd do if Clinton steals the nomination.

Contrast that with the FLOOD of threats from Hillary's supporters that they'll support John McCain if Obama is the nominee. That's the NORMAL REACTION.

There is simply no parity in the two groups' approaches. There is no way to say "they're all doing it". Hillary's supporters are threatening to bolt if Obama's nominated. Obama's supporters, despite IMHO having the ethics on their side, are by and large not doing this.

Two points arise from this:

1. Hillary's supporters, the ones threatening to bolt, are shown in sharp relief as the spoiled brats they are.

2. Obama's supporters are behaving admirably. Prediction: If Hillary steals the nomination, and Obama supporters object, they will be portrayed as the disloyal Democrats. Wait and see.
