Obama Vows To 'Do What's Right'
An oldie but a goodie that obviously bears repeating:

Fundraising Totals | Primary States | Where They Stand

TAMPA - Barack Obama hinted during a Tampa fundraiser Sunday that if he's the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, he'll seat a Florida delegation at the party's national convention, despite national party sanctions prohibiting it.

Obama also appeared to violate a pledge he and the other leading candidates took by holding a brief news conference outside the fundraiser. That was less than a day after the pledge took effect Saturday, and Obama is the first Democratic presidential candidate to visit Florida since then.

Obama and others have pledged not to campaign in Florida until the Jan. 29 primary except for fundraising, which is what he was doing in Tampa.

But after the fundraiser at the Hyde Park home of Tom and Linda Scarritt, Obama crossed the street to take half a dozen questions from reporters waiting there.

4. Interesting how it's wrong when one candidate says it...
But it's right when another does. Hmmm...

Sort of like when Hillary cajoles SD's to join her side, she's stealing! But when Obama does it, well, those SD's are just following the rules, right?

GAWD I really hate Clinton and Obama with a fiery passion now. They are both...

11. Yes, it is a little sad that you can't answer to the point made, and instead try to insult
Losing and transparent tactic, chum.

16. What point?
Edited on Wed May-28-08 03:13 PM by NCevilDUer
You had no point.

Was your point the so-called 'news conference' as an example of breaking the rules? He didn't call the press. It was the first day of the campaigning ban and it didn't occur to him that talking to a couple reporters in passing would be construed as a 'news conference'. By his own words "if it is, then I won't do it".

Or was your point the swaying of the delegates? Did I say she has no right to attempt to sway the delegates? Would it make any difference, since they show NO inclination to be swayed to her?

The only thing that is losing is Hillary.

ON EDIT: and it was YOU that said you hate BOTH - so what the fuck are you doing here?

In order to vote for them. Just another election where I'll hold my nose and vote for the Dem.

7. I think your source is WHACKED. Look at the date: Published "September 30, 2007"?
Edited on Wed May-28-08 02:55 PM by berni_mccoy
Interesting how they wrote the article 4 months in advance of the actual event.

And it's got plenty of other facts wrong to boot.

10. this has gotten really sad...
Their moanings have gotten progressively easier to retort in the last few days... "Obama's Uncle didn't liberate Auschwitz!!" "Obama's campaign set up porta-potties on a memorial!" "Look at this bogus article and pretend to be outraged!"

PA-THE-TIC

13. The age of the article is part of the point
Interesting how you missed the point that the decision to change the primary dates had already been made.

14. I'll answer it.
With a question.

How the does crossing the street to talk to reporters equal campaigning?

This is a stretch even for you guys.
