I'm great on road trips. We could not talk politics on the way down get out of the car than start shouting at each other and waving signs at each other as soon as the doors open. We might even get on CNN.

Here's the directions:
From I-95 south, take the Cluesville exit and turn right onto Hypo Avenue and continue for far longer than you ought to, until you reach the junction with Critical. At Hypo-Critical junction, turn right. IMPORTANT: DO NOT turn left at Hypo-Critical Junction. This will lead you to Insurmountable Delegate Lead Way and a neighborhood full of latte liberals, college students, and black people, any of whom might vandalize your car or steal your coffee. Anyway, after turning right, go about a mile and turn right again onto Failure avenue. Be careful, because Failure Avenue dead ends at a cliff and if you're not careful you might drive over it. From Failure Avenue, turn right again onto Hypo avenue and drive back to the I-95 onramp. All of this driving in circles may seem pointless, but I assure you it is not, though I can't exactly say I know what the point is. Anyway, just before the onramp, turn left onto Delegate Way. The address is 2025. Look forward to seeing you!

This is about the rules and the dem party, not an individual candidate. The protesters are going specifically in support of two states that broke the rules for no noble reason, just their own puffed up sense of importance...when did we start defending that?

|
it brings back such sweet memories. Where did we go wrong? I think it was the bittersweet juxtaposition of ethical pleas and slanderous epithets that first caught my eye. I can remember those good times just like they were yesterday, your requests for people to be respectful of your "candidate" while asking them to STFU and go fuck themselves. Ah, it feels good to type it on the keyboard. I guess I'll never know why it didn't work out...it must have been me, I'm so selfish, never wanting to share.

no, I don't tell people to STFU or go fuck themselves. Nor am I asking anyone to be respectful of Obama. I recognize that most hillbots are emotion based rather than reason based, thus I don't attempt to reason with them.

the four to five Hillary supporters, good folks all around, that responded to my enquiry. Last time I looked, the name of this board is Democratic Underground, and I, being a good Democrat, am seeking like-minded Democrats who understand that ignoring the voters and delegates of FL and MI is not the way to go into Denver or November. If you want to change the name of the board to Obama Underground...oh, oops, sorry... it already has. My bad.
Best of luck and I'll always remember the good times.

If it were me I'd offer to carpool to save gas but I don't know how she'd feel about it. She usually gets along with everyone but she's a little agitated about all this right now. Some of my coworkers are Clinton supporters and my job requires me to work toward the election of whoever our nominee is eventually, so even though I am passionate about my candidate I have tried not to become too sour on Clinton because I may have to work for her if she is the nominee. Sometimes her campaign tactics make me mad but I don't hate her as a person. If she does eventually drop out I'll probably be a little sad. When she shows her softer side she tugs at my heartstrings and makes me feel guilty for not supporting her. But then when she goes into her "macho" mode and seems willing to win at all costs it turns me off. But I still think she'd be a much better president than McCain, and I don't hate her.

64. Anybody Going to South Dakota or Montana this Weekend? |
|
I really really really want to vote again. See, hillary won my state in the primary and I don't think it's fair. Maybe we could hit one for an early vote and then jot on over to the next state before the polls close.
That wouldn't be breaking any rules, would it?

72. I guess it doesn't bother you that the place will be crawling ... |
|
with op chaos sleazebags waving "Hillary" signs with slogans slamming the Dem party, slamming Dem people and progressive ideas, and the MSM will be attracted like flies to shit.
Maybe after this Hillary/Rush supported "protest" is over and the vids hit the net you can point out which of the sign carrying protesters is you. You can prove that see, it wasn't you trashing the Dem party, you were just supporting Hillary, it was all those other obnoxious creepoid surrounding you, getting between you and the cameras, who made it look like that.

80. Did you get a ticket to the meeting? |
|
Or are you protesting outside?
I was lucky enough to snatch up one of the tickets, which is good because I'm not supposed to protest outside.

Not sure if you want to try to say hi because I'm an Obama supporter, but I got a ticket to the meeting so maybe I will see you there. I'll probably be wearing an Eggheads for Obama button like the one in my signature, so if you see someone with that button say hi and say that you are elixir on DU. I don't bite, I promise!

|
you and make remarks in the thread as we watch.
If your going to go I expect you to hold up the DU tradition of being even more obnoxious than regular dems - regardless of which candidate you support. We don't want people to think we are normal in here lol
Have fun. If you take a sign put a little DU mark on it somewhere.
And remember your not just fighting for the liberation of Florida and Michigan but also Zimbabwe lol.
