I never thought McClellan would speak more truth on the war than Clinton |
|
And that is why she lost. Not because of any sexism, misogyny, the media, or her advisers. Her appearance of dishonesty for political gain is her most troubling weakness. Scott McClellan was once the laughable mouthpiece of every failed Bush policy. Now he seems more candid than she is, especially on the war.
This is sad. Hillary should pull a McClellan and tell us what she really thought all along. She can't still believe her war vote wasn't a mistake after what McClellan admits to.

3. The truth is that Bill Clinton and many of his security team helped Bush sell that war in DC more |
|
than anything McClellan said.
I believe Clintons intentionally lied to other Dems in DC who would have to vote on war issues because they were DOWN with Bush's agenda and misled other Dems privately about what evidence Clinton had access to as president.
Bill Clinton and many of his security team showed up on TV and supported Bush's decision to go to war - in Bill's case, he did it very publicly, defending Bush from the criticisms leveled at him by the left (including the Dem nominee) throughout his summer2004 book tour. Hillary2008.

4. LittleBlue, what you say is true |
|
sad, but true. I never dreamed Scott McClellan would be speaking the words he spoke tonight on Countdown. By comparison, he makes Hillary Clinton look like a co-conspirator in obfuscating the truth from the American people.

5. I don't think it occurs to the Clintons to be truthful and open. |
|
It's all a dog and pony show, apparently. :(
