One thing to remember about MI and FL |

There was no effort by any campaign to get on the ballot on either state. The state parties put our candidates on the ballot without a signature drive or the filing of paperwork that is necessary normally to place your name on a ballot. The reason the states did this is because such an effort would constitute a campaign by the parties involved and would be a violation of the rules they agreed to at the beginning of this process.
No candidate asked to be on the FL or MI ballot and the normal process was not followed because FL and MI knew that their elections were in violation of the DNC rules.
