Probably not.

You'd think they'd have the facts on that story, wouldn't you?

Guess it isn't interesting to have a "war hero" cheat on his "deformed" wife who waited for him all of those years.....

1. Perhaps if we do like 30 threads here......
someone in the media will see it and decide to write the story.

Ron Fournier, I've got some info for ya! ;)

2. Wasn`t it AP`s CEO who "mistakenly" called Obama "Osama" and later apologized after...
Obama corrected him?

3. The story got a decent amount of play earlier this year
Not sure who picked it up (McClatchy?), but I know it made some local newspapers here in CT

5. I'm talking about complete saturation......
starting with AP, then over to Drudge, picked up by Fox, and Argued about over at CNN and MSNBC, and read as news items on the 6:00 news. guess I'm asking for too much.

6. That only happens to Democrats
If McCain's ex-wife was bitter and spiteful, it might have been a bigger story... but, she has supposedly forgiven him.

Plus, McCain was a POW after all, and for 5 1/2 years, never was able to have sex with his wife, you know.

4. No
If it were going to happen, it would have a month or more ago. Too late for any "character" revelations short of a covered-up murder conviction to have an effect.

(After he met Cindy in 1979)

There was only one complication: McCain was still married.

(Carole) Shepp McCain, then 42, had endured much in more than 14 years of marriage to John. She had raised their three young children alone while her husband languished in a North Vietnamese prison camp for 5 1/2 years. Her tribulations grew immeasurably after a near-fatal car accident that immobilized her for months and left her scarred for life. Despite their reunion and physical rehabilitation, by the late 1970s the McCains' marriage had begun to crack, as John engaged in what he later termed "dalliances" with other women.

8. Where are McCain's kids from his first marriage? Why aren't
they on the campaign trail supporting dear, old dad? I'm not even sure if there was 1 or 2 since they haven't been mentioned.
