Chris Wallace was extremely nice to David Pflouffe on FOX just now...
It was almost a lovefest; asked him about his expected baby and finished by saying, "Don't be a stranger." I guess Chris knows which way the winds are blowing.

1. The winds are blowing Faux out of the water.
Without a right wing to cheerlead any more will they just fold?
One can hope.

3. Chris Wallace and Shepherd Smith are almost legit on Faux. They will be canned soon.
After the election, they will want nothing but Hannity wannabes.

Look for Monica Crowley to get her own show.

8. Yes, Chris and Shep seem like decent enough people but they will be muzzled soon enough.

5. Thanks for this, blitzen~
For some reason it makes me feel very good. For one thing I didn't know Plouffe and his wife were gonna have a baby.

6. Wallace is suddenly really being fair and balanced.
I suspect he knows this election is going to Obama and the Democrats and he needs to make some new friends.

7. Britt Hume just chimed in: "Plouffe is convincing and impressive"
Hume has no doubt that Obama will win.

19. Why do you think he's turned in his notice to Rupert already?
Twit doesn't want to work for a FAUX Noize that's not the official White House Propaganda Arm.

12. Bingo
Remember, Murdoch opposed Tony Blair initially, but they ended up with something approaching mutual respect.

15. Precisely - I hope they are politely told to go fuck themselves
I don't see any more point in a Democrat appearing on Fox Noise than making a guest appearance with Rush Limbaugh.

16. Fox wants an Obama win. Their natural tone is angry and negative, and that works much better
when your opponent is in power. They prefer to complain and tear down a Dem president than defend a republican president (especially when he's such a fuck-up). On Wednesday Fox will begin their campaign to have Obama impeached.

17. It is a win/win ...
And, as you noted, after the absolute carnage of the last 8 years, them defending the absolute indefensible for the last 6 years, their ability to run interference for the Rs has about run its course.

As you noted, the right wing is at its best NOT in power, throwing bombs from the safety of their childishly idealistic dream world - playing the role of victim.

20. Wallace is the only one at Faux that has been
reasonably fair to Obama this election cycle.

Sadly, I prefer watching this to brokaws heinous version of MTP.
