FREE tall Starbuck's Nov 4th, if you vote!
If you go into a Starbuck's on Tuesday, November 4th, and tell them that you voted--they'll give you
a free tall coffee!

Watch this little bit on the Starbuck's site. I thought it was inspiring!

I have the "I voted" stickers to prove it, I might drop in to take them up on that offer. It would be my first time going to Starbucks in a loooooooooooooooong time.

10. I don't buy Starbucks
Ever since Howard Schultz sold the Seattle Supersonics to a bunch of right wing Swiftboater assholes.

But since it's free I'll go in wearing my t-shirt with this logo.

21. ...what? No, that's a pretty common occurance throughout humanity at large.
Regardless, Starbucks is still mediocre coffee that sells itself to people who are concerned more with branding than value or quality. Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds both offer better coffee for less money; I haven't yet seen a blind taste-test that puts Starbucks over either (or anywhere but at the bottom of the list, for that matter).

35. Hmmm
You don't like Starbucks. Whatever... Hate those Latte Drinking Elitist Liberals too cause that's usually associated? Or is is just fun to insult other peoples taste when you don't have to worry about them being able to reach you?

By the way, McDonalds coffee is crap and the people who drink it probably eat their own feces.

Hey! That is fun!

.....that pay minimum wage and no benefits?

41. Really? Interesting.
We don't have Dunkin Donuts here, and I've never met a McDonald's coffee that didn't taste like it was sitting on a warmer for a week and a day.

I prefer Caribou, but we don't have those here either, and I darn well like Starbucks. And, yes, I'm so terribly concerned with branding. :eyes: I want everyone to know I drink Starbucks coffee 'cause it's so dang prestigious. I'm always shoving my cup in their faces, saying, "Look! I drive a six-year-old car and wear last year's clothes, but I'm cool 'cause I drink STARBUCKS."

Oh. Wait. I don't actually do that. But please, don't let facts get in the way of your preconceptions.

39. Don't worry. I'll be right along with you as we are forced to cop to our pretentiousness
and ignoramus-ness.

Personally, I think it's more than a little pretentious to make such judgments about people based on the coffee they drink, but what do I know? I'm just an ignoramus.

But if I'm in Phoenix in the summer and I NEED a caffeine hit I'm probably going to find a Starbucks before anything else.

However, it's great they are encouraging people to vote.

18. Smart move on their part. If we win Democrats will associate Starbucks with happy times

and be drawn back for nostalgia. Republicans who lose will just think of it as the one good thing about the day. Both sides will appreciate it and want to come back.
