Poll for those who have volunteered for the Obama Biden Campaign

As a 52 year old who has been compelled for the first time ever to get involved with a presidential campaign, I am curious as to how many others find themselves similarly inspired.

1. I've volunteered a bit before this

but quite a lot this time. I got active after 2004 and worked heavily on a congressional race in 2006.

I haven't worked for a candidate since Mondale in 1984. I went back this year because I thought I should.

5. I volunteered when I was youger, the last few cycles I gave money

this year, thanks to Obama, I did both.

I live in a state where my vote doesn't count so it didn't do any good to knock on doors or phone ppl. Obama set it up so I could call ppl in a swing state and drive to Colorado to knock on doors. I've done both...well all three, I also gave the maximum $ amount because I'm grateful that I can and know so many who support Obama can't.

though I have worked a lot more for Obama's campaign than I did for Kerry.

Obama's game plan has been amazingly well organized and efficient.

He will make a GREAT president.

I am 51. I had not before been to a political rally, never made phone calls, and never volunteered at my local Dem headquarters, nor donated money.

13. This is my second. I volunteered for Dean & Kerry.

Four years ago. Pretty much just as vigorously. We swung a county in North Carolina, and I was proud of us.

But it hurt to lose.

If we lose this time, I don't think I can summon the energy to do this a 3rd time.
