Funny how pundits presume a candidate will lose states he never trails in
I remain amused that TV talking heads assume McCain will win Florida and Ohio despite the fact that Obama keeps leading in both states in just about every poll released.

I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I would guess that Obama's lead in Ohio is bigger than Kerry's lead in a number of blue states in 2004.

It's not that McCain cannot possibly win FL or OH... just that I don't know of any reason to think he will.

1. Seems to me that Obama needs to be 6+ points ahead for a state to 'lean' his way
Pennsylvania is supposedly 'leaning' obama with over a ten point lead.

The pundits have been wrong about EVERYTHING since the primaries started. I don't listen to a word they say anymore.
