It has been a long hard slog from the mud of a stolen election through the bogs of war and the muck of stolen civil liberties and supression of dissenting opinions. I'm so proud we all came together from so many walks of life and regions of the nation to preserve the heart of America.

I love you all, even at your snarkiest. We're a great family of citizens who have loved our nation enough to stand up when it counted and work to change it. I look forward to standing with you well into the future.

For all the DU'ers who are no longer with us, for Keph and Andy and all the others, we've stayed strong through this community. Thank you Skinner, EarlG, Elad for giving us a place to hope. We are going to change this country and it begins today. I'll be back tomorrow, and however many days, weeks, months or years it takes. This is not the end of this fight, because power does not release it's grip willingly. But I'll be here, we'll be here.

Republican motherfuckers (a redundancy if ever there's been one) have utterly dominated this country for the vast majority of the 40+ years in which I've been politically engaged and active. I've seen high-minded posts hereabouts to the effect that "I don't hate Republicans." Well I'm not nearly so saintly. I DO hate the motherfuckers. With every fiber of my being.
