Just came home for a little bit |
|
to get some lunch and to get warm. I have been doing polling place visibility for Obama, Kerry, and Congressman Tierney since 8:00.
I have been doing this on election day pretty much every year, which will include municipal elections on the off years, since 1974. I can honestly say that I don't ever remember the amount of traffic all morning long like I saw this morning.
People are psyched and anxious to vote. The turnout is going to be, I think, record breaking.
Of course, here in MA, we have little to worry about this year, so I was pretty much alone. Most of the others who would normally be there have gone help with GOTV in New Hampshire.
This is going to be one of the most exciting election nights in my memory!

60 degrees here, but I am very near the shoreline, so it is bound to be cooler. And standing or sitting in one place for a while it tends to get chilly. I'm going to wear a warmer jacket this afternoon.
