1. Good gawd. What a nailbiter.
We've got a nailbiter in the Oregon Senate race, too. I'm pissed off at my state. I thought our big Obama vote would be enough to push Merkley in without this much of a struggle.

3. I think the extremely nasty, dishonest ads Smith ran
against Merkley the past two weeks got the RWs fired-up.
