Fist bumps in the playground. This is starting to feel real.
I just returned home after dropping my son off at school. He's in first grade at what's probably our town's second wealthiest elementary school. I only mention that because these are supposed to be the voters who always vote selfishly to preserve their own wealth, right? This morning there were HUGE grins on the parents, and fist bumps all around.

We did it. We started the change that America needs. All of us did. And now we get to take this great euphoric feeling and apply it to making this a better country for all our children.

Today is a proud day. :patriot:

1. Oh, that's so wonderful
I cried myself to sleep with happy tears and am crying again this morning. I am so very proud of the people of this country. We managed to make right what others among us have made so very wrong over the last 8 years.

 :patriot:

3.  I wanted to march to school today waving a flag.
:) I think I would have embarrassed my son though, so I'll cool it for now.

4. As far as the wealth thing goes
Obama won overwhelmingly among people earning $200k and above. I've been arguing that would happen for a long time. It turns out more of the people who are super concerned about a tax increase on the wealthy tend to be guys like Joe the Plumber who will never be wealthy.

6. That's amazing.
Do you think they get that a strong middle class is the best thing for business?
