Kennedy historian and critic of Nixon and Bush who coined of the term "imperial presidency" and had an unfortunate car accident the day after delivering a blistering denunciation of the Bush administration in Berkeley..

She moved to France because she was sick of our government.

Two years before she died we went to see her in concert at the Kennedy Center. The only time she stood up from her piano during the show was to yell at everyone about president Bush, she said "Get him the fuck out of there!" and the crowd went wild! Except for one couple.. sitting on our side of the theater, they got up AND LEFT :wow: these people WALKED OUT out of a Nina Simone show.. just goes to show you what those people are.
