Did anyone else witness the rich irony of Pat Robertson on Larry King Live
the day after the election proclaiming that Obama has a chance of being the greatest American president ever? Man had not a bad thing to say about Obama. It was amazing. He either had an epiphany or he's worried about losing his ill-gotten gains.

2. It was rather astounding to hear given all the hatred and
vitriol that man has spewed over the decades.

8. I apologize but I don't...I listen to them.
Because to be forewarned is to be forearmed.
And I know how disgusting it is but someone has to keep an eye on them and I have a high threshold of puking.

3. It was amazing indeed!
Maybe he's not guilty of being just a fake Christian like many of them. It seemed as though he was speaking with intelligence, thoughtfulness, and true Brotherly Love. Baffling!

(...maybe it was a Trojan Horse)

4. Personally, I don't trust that old goat any further than I could throw him
and that wouldn't be far. Televangelists have more often than not done great disservice to their denominations and their congregants. I distrust any person who claims that God has told them to teach in a manner to amass staggering wealth and then exhorts followers to think and act with hatred towards others.

5. Hey, if the money keeps rolling in, all will be fine.
Televangelists are scum. Exploiting religion to get rich, how Republican of him.

6. This will change once Obama starts enacting his "radical liberal agenda".

9. God has been messin' with Pat...........
He waited until Pat had endorsed Guliani, then God told him that Obama was going to win.

10. I'll never forget him sitting there with Jerry Falwell, agreeing that 9/11 was caused by
liberals, gays, feminists, abortionists, etc., etc., etc., because their evil deeds had caused God to remove his veil of protection from America as a country and allow it to be attacked by its enemies in order to teach it a lesson about what happens when you go down the wrong path.

That alone will keep me from ever being able to see Pat Robertson as anything but a slimeball. He's no different than Jeremiah Wright, he just has a very gentle, soft-spoken way of saying "America's chickens have come home to roost" and "God damn America!" In a way, it's more insidious for its very softness.

If he's praising Obama now, it's only because he's finally come around to believing somehow that Obama is not a secret Muslim, but actually a Christian like he always said he was...and Pat is plotting even now how to get his ear "as a Christian" to promote his own bigoted agenda. He's begun to believe it is actually possible, and he can't wait to get started!

12. Pat is also seeing that young Christian evangelicals are concerned with actual issues of poverty
and the environment. His brand of "Christian" hate is being replaced by a newer generation of kids taking the message of Jesus to heart and that is the death knell for power hungry, greedy bastards like Part Robertson and his contemporary ilk and he knows it. How's the blood diamond running trade doing, Pat?

13. Pat is probably worried that graduates of Regent University
who have been carefully seeded throughout the USG career staff during BushCo's tenure, especially graduates from the School of Law (think Monica Goodling), will actually have to prove that they are qualified in something other than Robertson's brand of religious gobbledegook. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regent_University

So he's making nicey-nice right now. IMO, he's just another so-called "Christian" hypocrite.

14. Robertson is worried about keeping the slavery conditions in his Diamond mines.

You all do know that Robertson profits from Conflict diamonds and owns mines right?
