For some reason, though I have a ton of Obama stuff still up in my cube, they like to include me on their email groups of bitching about the President-Elect.

Today I've received a burning missive from Tom Adkins entitled "White Guilt is Dead." In the email, Tom Adkins is said to be publisher of CommonConservative.com and included his phone number. Its not posted on his website, and I think the article is dubious at best, while being one of the saddest bit of bitchery I've yet seen from the Right. I'll not post it here, the title says it all. If you want the text, PM me and I'll send it along.

The other had the typically fantastic subject: A POSSIBLE GLIMMER OF HOPE???????????????????????????? Which concerned itself with an buried lead in a blog post that basically says the SCOTUS might decide that Obama is an illegal alien before the Electoral College convenes on December 13. (You don't really need to read the article, It blathers on for 4 paragraphs on this subject of Obama's birth-certificate, that I've summed up in one sentence, believe me, you don't need to read it unless you have a sick fasicination with the other side's "tactics" and enjoy that sort of thing, like I do)

This is what they have left folks. Stirring up non-issues bent on keeping America from actually functioning for the will of the people. If they keep this up, they can expect their remission as a political party to continue for some time.

5. I heard the illegal alien on some wingnut radio show last night...

Something about when he returned from Malaysia to the United States, he had somehow become an illegal alien. How does that work? I lived overseas as a child and never became an illegal alien. (Though I was abducted by aliens, but that's another story.)

8. Well they seem to think there's a quote out there from Obama's grandmother...

... on his father's side that says, that she says, Obama was actually born in Kenya. Ergo, they say, he's a Kenyan and not an American. It totally ignores the fact that his mother is American and citizenship of the U.S. is handed automatically, to anyone born of an American parent. Its how we do it here.

Where this stupidity true, then anybody not born on US soil would not be a U.S. Citizen. Meaning legions of Army Brat's would suddenly lose their citizenship. There's no way the SCOUTS would touch that.

11. Their argument is that she was under the age of 18

when he was born, and if so, he would not be a US citizen. (If only one parent is a US citizen, that parent must have lived in the US for at least five years after the age of 16.) But it's a moot point because the courts already found his (Hawaiian) birth certificate legit.
