Some folks know how to lose...gracefully...
This banner is the work of the South Bay Republicans...

The building is where they had their McCain Headquarters...

This is in Torrance, at the corners of Hawthorne Blvd. and Lomita Blvd.

The view is facing SW...

That was back when no one had a color TV unless you were "rich." ;)

57. I lived in Lomita in those days...
And we had an old black and white Zenith for the longest time! We got a color TV before a lot of my friends did... only because my grandpa was a TV and stereo repair man and he fixed one up that one of his customers was getting rid of. Here's what the remote control looked like... yeah! Remote freaking control! We were stylin'!

12. There is no grace in stupidity...
The poor vapid moose-killer doesn't even realize she's a joke and the world is laughing at her. All she knows is there's a 20% (plus or minus) portion of American society as vacuous as she who LURVE her! She's playing to the base whilst entertaining the rest of us.

...and that is a good thing. :toast:

The Reeps have not moderated their behavior as yet, which has actually helped Dems to grow their presence in a lot of key areas. In a way, it's kind of a good thing that the Buckeye Reeps are acting like sphincters. ;)

I'm proud to be a South Bay native!

Now if we can just teach those guys who smashed out car windows in Torrance to get a clue.

One at a time, I suppose. This banner sets a great example!

Thanks for this, CaliforniaPeggy!

It's a very pleasant reminder that there are some decent Republicans around...

This area is not noted (for the most part) for extremists at either end of the political spectrum.

And how do I know?

Right below the banner, you can see the office where there are still some flag banners up...

A couple of friends of mine went in there to scope out the McCain headquarters while it was active...

So we know they put up this banner...

This area is known for moderates on both sides of the aisle...

As soon as the GOP lease was up they put up the banner.
