I guarantee he is laughing behind our back. And so are the GOP and McCain.

The next Democrat who wants to support a GOP candidate learned a valuable lesson today!

The lesson is "Go Ahead And Do It!!!"

But to me, at the microphone, he looked like he just ate the shit sandwich. And how they look in front of the camera is *all* to these guys.

5. My thoughts exactly.
The message is that you can say anything you like and do anything you like. There are no repercussions. No accountability to anybody.

6. What is the best possible outcome?
Have they bought some important votes by letting Lieberman hang on a little longer? Maybe?

7. Obama hasn't won the White House by being dumb. Every move he makes continues to be criticized.
I don't like the perception that Lieberman dodged a bullet, but nor do I think Obama would let anyone say the shit that Lieberman said about him and walk away.

As usual, I'm pretty sure Obama's way ahead of those of us in the blogosphere who aren't in on the strategy sessions.

14. Obama won by not being a Republican
He still has to earn our trust. I'm supporting him in his first several months in office, but he doesn't get a pass just because he beat McCain.

Yep, go ahead and do it. Loyalty is meaningless in the Democratic Party.

I'll remember that shit the next time they dun me for money.

25. DCCC just asked for money, fuckno, ask Lieberman's puke friends for it.
The Republicans had plenty of money to bankroll Lieberman against Lamont, what a fucking disgrace, Democratic Senator or Republican Senator, just one exclusive club.

17. The situation boiled down to a matter of arithmetic. Everyone know
who the weasel is. The Democratic strategy made sense. We could have kicked Lieberman out and lost the vote. Which would have been better in the long run? The pros think that the deal was better. Many of us think otherwise.

I predict that there will be many voting situations in which Lieberman's vote will not be needed.

19. There is one way to get to Lieberman
And that's for CT to vote him out. That's where people have the power. If Congress won't act then the people have to. Joe can be beaten at the ballot box.

24. Pre-cise-ly.
So very disgusted with Democrats on this one. I know they don't have to agree with me on my positions, but dammit this is the same MoFo who went out and actively campaign AGAINST our party's nominee!
