Let's support our President! |
|
He certainly is infinitely better than any republican--smarter, more honest...
What is your personal favorite accomplishment of the Obama Administration in the first year?
(I know it won't be an official year until January, but he was the most influential President-elect I'm aware of in US history, so let's call it a year.)

Bush and Cheney tried to scare us into abandoning them.

2. I think in his first few months in office, |
|
he did a remarkable job of repairing our relationships with our allies.
I think some of that repair may have been tarnished a bit since then, but HUGELY better than the bushies and reaganistas.

9. He brought us hope, where there was none...... |
|
That in itself was worth my vote, without going any further as to what he has accomplished....
But I do enjoy all of the women, in particular, strong Black women, that he has appointed to high levels in this government.
His biggest legacy thus far is sitting in the Supreme Court..... and there is more where that came from!

I think his biggest accomplishment is his restoration of a sense of intelligence and basic humanity to the Presidency after so many cartoon character presidents who were such unnatural and unreal persons. Obama and his family are REAL PEOPLE, and have a good family relationship. He doesn't think he is our emperor, and he's not a idiot - very refreshing.
