There is a company called Acxiom at 7th St. and the 101. Interesting place and interesting information on the net! You can check the company name with Rove, Bush, W. Clark, and Clinton and you receive info. They have a wrought iron fence surrounding their building, a gate with a guard house. So, how strange is this? How many companies do you see in Phoenix this well guarded?
Today I went to take pictures, I have pictures and can't post them. But, when I was taking pictures, the guard walked out of his little house and a black pick drove out. He probably took a picture of my car and license. The interesting thing was, there were no cars around the area. It did not appear anyone was leaving their job.
My searching says.... they are taking all of our personal info. Are they selling it? What are they doing with it?

government connected place, in some way. I'd be really careful. People can disappear all too easily. Taking pics does make you stand out, and it might not be worth it. There are things in places we would never dream of. I had a friend who was doing some work at a ranch in the hills near Santa Barbara some years back. Funny, quite a few well-dressed people would walk into this big barn on the property, and you'd never see them come out again, though you were working a hundred feet away for hours straight. Be very careful.

I'm still here, but a little nervous. My one picture shows the guard half in the guard house. As soon as I snapped my first picture the guard was in the middle of the gate, then the truck came out.
I tried to go on line to the New Times to request an investigation but I couldn't find a place for this.
Just drive by there, I'm not the only one who has concerns.
They are hiding something, something is not right there.
They are stupid really, why let everyone know you are hiding your company?

3. I don't live in Arizona, but visited there countless times all my life. |

I'm in California, but my folks spent their retirement years between Tucson and here. My brother, who coincidentally is on the road right now heading to Phoenix, lived in the Phoenix area for 9 years, and came to hate it for a variety of reasons. And he's not even a liberal. Such a shame, it's sucyh a beautiful place.
So, I can't drive past the place. I would be extra cautious about what I did and said for a while, given the new freedom they have given themselves under the Patriot Act.

I'm in my 60's if they want to get rid of me, let them. They (the pukes) do not give me much to live for anyway, but I will go down fighting. I just would love to put the two pictures I took today on DU but my computer won't let me.
Everyone in Phoenix should pass Acxiom, it just gives me goosebumps. I have never ever seen a company fenced in like this.
Okay, Acxiom is at 7th St. and the 101, the northeast corner before entering the freeway. I just get really bad vibes from this place.
