Vote NO on amendment #3! I was involved in helping to get pigs
out of those horrible gestation crates where they basically spend their entire lives not being about to even turn around.

The add FOR it was joking about this amendment.

There are plenty of other reasons to vote "NO" also.

1. Also, I heard, that amendment recieved support from builders.
They constantly throw that amendment around but it did recieve some support from developers (if I remember correctly). The amendment basically made large commercial pig farms (of which there were very few in FL) unprofitable to operate. If anyone has been near a pig farm, the stench is unbearable and you can smell it for miles. They're also notoriously polluting. Developers didn't want them in Florida lowering the value of real estate for retirement communities and vacation homes. So if anyone throws around that it was just a bunch of us liberals behind that amendment, they need to be reminded that it also did have some practical business support.

3. I refuse to take power away from the people. Definately voted no.
Just a sneak attack by the repubs to take control of the state away from the people.

What I don't really understand is, why hasn't someone gotten a constitutional vote through the last 3 elections to can the Diebold machines?

5. Just goes to prove that Floridians don't
know what the hell they are voting for anymore. How many people do you think realize that they just voted to make their right to amend the constitution even harder than it was before?
