How can we bring Air America to a Boston-area station? Has anyone taken steps? What steps can we take? Thoughts and ideas are appreciated!

5. Seriously, in Northampton? |
|
That rocks! :bounce:
Rachel Maddow, who calls herself the "unfamous one" on Unfiltered, did a morning show in Northampton until she went to AAR.
Has anyone in Mass. tried to get AAR on Plattsburgh/Burlington - WTWK 1070? That may come in better than WLIB 1190 out of NYC. I'll try that this evening.
Here in west-central MA, I can occasionally get 1190 well, but there's a lot of interference from a high-power station that seems to originate somewhere near Detroit.

4. Send them an email with your location, and tell you neighbors to also. |

A station in Boston might be difficult/expensive. But maybe a smaller town deal (like a college or liberal area) might make more financial sense for them....

But in my office here in SE Mass, I can barely get WBUR, let alone stations in Nashua or NoHo. I end up listening on the computer instead.

You'd think that AAR would have started in Boston...it is, after all, the home of a Democratic mayor in a Democratic state in a HUGELY Democratic region. Anyway, I want AAR to come here because I'm sick of fighting for it on the Web when I want to listen.
