Slots at Racetracks Pass Senate 26-9
A veto proof margin. (Scott Brown is away, but sent a letter that he will favor the bill, and vote to override).

The House is still a question mark. The AFL-CIO sent a letter out that this is now a "Labor Bill", putting any Democrats who oppose this legislation in a bind.

If it passes the house, and Romney vetoes the bill, liberal dems that oppose it will have to choose between voting against their natural allies, organized labor, and supporting their natural political enemy, Governor Mitt Romney.

Or sticking with those who have supported them in the past, and hand Romney a stinging defeat.

Those on the line, Festa, Falzone and Linsky come to mind.

Verrrry interesting.
