Progressives Move to Grassroots Politics
I believe this group, Progressive Democrats Of Massachusetts, was started by some staffers of Robert Reich's political campaign. He had run for Governor in 2002 and lost in the primaries. I believe RR, himself, is involved in this group. http://www.progressivedems.org/index.htm

1. Sounds interesting.
I voted for Reich in the primary; I would have loved to see him as the governor of Mass.

3. Makes two of us.....would have made one hell of a governor. Instead
look what we got stuck with. Can't believe it we
here in the hinterland were shocked..wonder how
he pulled that one off...like we didn't know.

2. i've been meeting with this group for the past few months
not a whole lot of activity so far but we've had 3 or 4 pretty good meetings ... the group I'm with meets in Ashland in the western burbs but it's open to everyone ...

saw a couple of great films (one from MoveOn) with a discussion afterwards ... i make sure they get lots of DU info at their meetings ...

if you're interested in knowing about the time and place for the next meeting, drop me a PM ... it would be great to have other DU'ers attend ...
