I saw Max Cleland today

in St. Cloud. A great crowd filled the VFW, including me, my sister, my 84 year old WWII Vet father, and my 12 year old niece. He was introduced by a person who knew JK in Viet Nam, although was not on JK's swift boat. Still the man blasted the SWL for B. Then it was SEnator Cleland. What an honor to see him. He gave a powerful presentation supporting JK. He made us laugh, he made us angry, he explained why we need JK. An outstanding event, if you get a chance to see him, make sure that you do.

4. I got to meet him when he was in Mankato, got a picture with him and an

autograph. He was wonderful; spoke to a crowd of about 400 or so.
I was there with my daughter; just last Saturday we went to the FAIR to see Al Franken and hang out and eat frozen key lime pie dipped in chocolate on a stick, yum....
OH! And go giggle at the boys dressed like flip flops, still trying to convince people that BUSH is "steadfast" and "consistent."
