1. Our caucus in SD 52 had a record turnout
Probably triple the usual attendance, even for a presidential election year. Absolutely incredible! By the looks of it, other precincts had similar crowds. Hopefully that will translate into votes in November.

Poll results:

OBAMA: 81
CLINTON: 40
EDWARDS: 1
UNCOMMITTED: 1
1 spoiled ballot for Al Franken

2. My little white working class precinct caucus in Stillwater
Edwards 1
Clinton 30
Obama 74

...and HUGE turnout. I'd say there may have been three times as many attendees as I've seen before.

3. Due to work pressures, I couldn't stay and run for district delegate
:-(

but the turnout was amazing!

My caucus was one of two held at a local school, and the line to get in stretched around two sides of the block. I had to drive around to find a place to park.

6. Mine in SD59, Northeast Mpls
had 523 people come through the doors, 490 ballots cast, about 200 stayed to caucus. It was truly amazing - we all came together to make it move more smoothly and everyone was really patient and wonderful as we were scrambling to find more tables to register folks, paper, etc. Also, we didn't have to subcaucus, which was great. We had 51 delegate spots, and 51 people raised their hands - and we managed to maintain gender balance. Wow.

Results:

Obama 335
Clinton 148
Edwards 2
Kucinich 2

Plus, someone voted for Franken (whoops) and 2 for Ron Paul (double whoops) so we had 3 spoiled ballots. But I was SO excited about the turnout and the results - I'm just happy to be a DFLer right now!

7. We had a line going around the corner
waiting to get inside. I'm guessing we had 550 people that voted. Amazing!

8. Huge turnout.
In our area- Lac Qui Parle county- we had 113 people turn out. I was told that last time there were 10 or 12. I can't remember the numbers, but across 14 precincts (we were all in the same room) Hillary won by a few votes.

For comparison, the Republican caucus had only about 70 people.
