Triv dissed LeBron James for sleeping in, I say LBJ should |
|
Never do another Clear Channel appearance, if he ever did.
Yesterday, Mike Trivisonno (sp?) of Clear Channel's WTAM 1100 in Cleveland decided to rant about how LeBron James slept in and kept Clear Channel waiting for 45 minutes before making his appearance as "NBA's Rookie Of The Year".
I think that LBJ should realize that he is now bigger than Triv (popularity-wise), so he should refuse to appear in any way, shape, or form on any Clear Channel venue (other than the Gund arena).
Since any LBJ-related thing is instant ratings/sales, that would only be helping CC, not doing a damn thing for LBJ, who has ceased signing personal items well before he was officially in the draft.
I think that LBJ should shun CC and make no appearances/statements. Just watch CC & Triv sweat as LBJ remains popular, while CC "hurts" as they try to smear him.
Your opinion?

I try not to listen to them but that is hard since they own most of the stations around here.

3. I only listen when I'm trying to get traffic reports |
|
Of course, their offices now sit on the intersection of 480 & Rockside, yet when their reports mention I-77 (my main route), it's either used as a reference for traffic on another highway, or they ignore anything south of Fleet/Harvard/Grant.
I've found that listening to 760 AM (yes, a Clear Channel station) in the afternoon, with Mitch Albom, is a lot more palatable than the afternoon pig on 1100.

4. Sorry, but it ain't gonna happen... |
|
Do you think a guy that signs a $100 million endorsement deal without even setting foot on an NBA court gives a damn about Clear Channel? Barring any poor business decisions, King James is set for life.
As for Triv, I dont really have a problem with him, though he does remind me of that know-it-all uncle everyone has. As for his politics, he does lean a bit to the right, but he is definitelky more of a populist than most talk radio hosts CLAIM to be. (O'Really? in particular).
