Is there anyone who can run against Cornyn?
He really, REALLY needs to go!

I'm not even a Texan, and I despise this asshole with a passion. I'm so sick of hearing him go on and on about how Bush's 51% of the vote means that conservative/evangelical Republicans have a "mandate" to do whatever they want (and appoint any judges they want).

Are there any Texas Democrats who could win statewide against John Cornyn in 2008?

1. they are so good at the old Ronald Reagan trick of 'repeat a lie
enough times and the masses will soon start believing it'. I'm so sick of it! What ever happened to those 'mandate my ass' banners? Got to make one and display it somewhere.

2. There's a good bunch.
Charlie Stenholm could win any statewide election right now, except maybe against Hutchison. Both Ron Kirk and our Lt. Gov candidate ran close in 2002, and some of the other gerrymandered ex-congressmen could get some statewide appeal.

3. There will be a challenge we can guarantee that
We need a good candidate that can run a statewide race and we need to work like hell to help them win.

Cornyn is very bad for Texas.

5. DeLay is going to help us too
We're grabbing the waistband on his pants and pulling down hard to expose his ugly ass corruption. I can see his ugly, dirty crack right now with all of these ethics violations circling.

When we bring down DeLay, the rest will come tumbling down like the flimsy house of cards they've built.

First stop is the '06 statewide elections. Let's get out there and work like crazy.
