Keep Austin Blue Debate Watching Party, Thursday, February 21 |
|
Did your tickets to the Austin Presidential Debate get lost in the mail? Did you already auction them on EBay to cover the co-pay on your health insurance? Don't despair, join your friends at Keep Austin Blue for a Presidential Debate Watching Party.
We'll be getting together at our usual place, Mother Egan's at 715 West 6th Street, around 6:30 to prepare for the debate, which starts at 7. We are candidate neutral, so whether you support Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, or you just can't make up your mind, you can expect to have a great time.
See you Thursday!

2. I actually know someone who got a ticket |
|
A woman from one of the local women's groups I belong to. She is thrilled she got in. She got both and e-mail and a phone call last night. So I guess it's over for the rest of us.
Big screen debate watching it is!
I will say this, that at least at one of the debate parties, you can drink and applaud, and hiss and make all manner of annoying noises that secret service people would abhor. Let's get ready to rumble Texas!
Have fun!

3. Yeah, who would want to go to the real debate anyway? |
|
I'm sure the Secret Service would seize flasks.
