It was about six years ago UWM won only four games all season, so that's what makes their success more special.
It's good to see some school spirit. For far too long UWM has been thought of as just a commuter school. Needs a higher profile in the community. Atlhough it's only sports, this can only help.

10. Honest to God, I picked teams based on that philosophy! |
|
I know nothing about any of them. If I didn't have a sense of how they would play, I picked blue state over red.

12. The Confederacy schools are known for |

waving the Stars and Bars at football games, but I don't see it at the basketball games.
I just want to win my pool. No time to think about the red/blue state thing. I had UAB (University of Alabama-Birmingham.....Birmingham ugh) to upset.

9. I picked Creighton too. |

Oh well, the rest of my pool looked pretty good last night. Beginner's luck...I've never participated in a pool before now.

11. Hope you're having fun |
|
These March Madness pools are fun because you don't need to know much about the sport to have fun. I dated a woman a while back who was lukewarm towards sports until she met me, now I guess she does the pool thing at work also.
Creighton had the chance for the last shot and they screw up the clock management, causing a forced shot that gets blocked and the WVU guy is wide open for a dunk with :02 left. Ugh!

Know nothing about how any of the teams play, but wanted them to win so I picked them for last night.
