The Big Loser Tonight Isn't Bush - It's The Corporate Media
After all of the consolidations; after 4 years of blatant cheer leading and whoring for *; after the 24/7 deification of the chimp - their man loses in a landslide.

What must they be thinking tonight as they go down their roster of useless 24/7 cable news opinion shows and overpaid on-air talent? How does it feel to know that between the internet and The Daily Show, they have become irrelevant in how people get their news?

So, fuck you, big media. Your power to influence is a chimera. I hope your ad revenues plummet like crazy.

Oh, yeah...fuck you again!

2. They are next on the list.
Without sponsors they will be in a lot of trouble. Some high level management may be on the way out.

The people are speaking! Salute!

3. Wait a minute; Bush LOST already?!@?
Silly me, I thought they hadn't closed the polls in many states. Huh! I guess some people can see the future....

Seriously, cut it out, people. We don't know who won. We're getting our hopes up and we know what that'll get us.

5. Getting our hopes up has absolutely no power to change anything.
Do you really think that if you're sitting home *getting your hopes up* that the bad luck fairy is going to zap the election and give it to *? C'mon!

I live in NV. The polls close in about 3 hours. The turnout has been very heavy here. The last general election, 380,000 people voted in the LV Valley. This year, 320,000 voted EARLY in the LV Valley. Heavy turnout always favors the Dems. All the signs point towards a Kerry landslide.

If you want to wait to celebrate, fine. Me? I'm buying some French champagne on the way home (we already drank the Korbel, so the domestic side is covered)!

4. Kick!
You know what though... their revenues won't go down unless we can unglue ourselves from those channels.

In any case, media reform should be at the top of Democrats' agenda.

6. TvNewsLIES.org - Amen
You are correct. They have betrayed the people of America. They are the true enemy of the people. We must continue to fight for truth in media.

7. Change the FCC
After Powell's weak response to the Sinclair fiasco, let's get a few new FCC members.

10. Other BIG losers...
Scaife, Heritage Foundation, and all of the other plethora of RW crackpot "think" tanks, foundations, butt boys, etc. They managed to fool people for a while, and their backers have certainly made BILLIONS as a result, but finally the TRUTH is catching up to them!! AT LAST!! yipee!!

11. I know I said I wouldn't,
But I switched over to Faux. Their "election expert" was on and they showed their "war room" and I've never seen a more depressed group of people in the background. They were just staring at their PC's.
