Where is everyone staying? I'm at the Loews.

Maybe we can have some identifying ribbons or something so we know we are all from DU.

Anyone feeling creative? IF not, let's pick a color (maybe blue?) and wear blue armbands or ribbons to identify ourselves. Any other ideas?

12. Anybody Going to be there through Sunday Night?
Let's all go to Writers Night at The Bluebird Cafe... starts 8 PM Sunday night, no cover, and I hear the owner of the club is a Davidson County Dem (correct me if I am wrong, but that's what some Nashville Dems told me the last time I was there!)

Last time I went, the music was GREAT (and I'm not a big fan of Country, either, but this was good!) :-)

13. Well you guys have the conferences down..
Theres so many conferences and united groups that can do something, that's good.

But I don't think anyone is preparing for war....And people in Ohio better be prepared for war caus' its just about done brewing.

http://www.nytimes.com/2005/03/27/politics/27OHIO.html

"We're very confused that you have a Republican Party platform, and yet people running for higher office pay no attention to it," said Phil Burress, the leader of the Issue 1 campaign, who is also helping organize the Restoration Project. "Why don't they just become Democrats?" he asked"

The Dominionists are here, and they want to elect fraud based Blackwell, king of Votergate Ohio, to become Governor and ruler of the state. And they are going to pull out all stops to make it happen.

15. Wow. Two threads on the Nash-ional conference ...
... and I didn't start either one of them. Thanks, guys. We are swamped here getting all the logistics in place. We're looking forward to the conference and to meeting all of you.

I posted the most recent speakers' list on the other Nashville thread (started by kevin_pdamerica), so I'll post the (partial) list of supporting organizations and individuals here. (Tomorrow, I expect to add a half dozen labor unions to this list.) I sure hope we can convince all mid-South DUers to join us -- it will be a historic gathering.

29. Am thinking about coming from Memphis for Saturday
Edited on Thu Apr-07-05 05:31 PM by davidgmills
Would kind of like to put some faces on the names of the DUers.

Would be coming for moral support only as this lawyer is out of his league.

But I did give one of our prominent judges a copt of USCountVotes article today. Kind of raised his eyebrows when I told him what it was about.

Maybe I can be a messenger boy.
