O.K., I'm On Overload...Too Much Info...Question.....
Is all this going anywhere? I want soooo bad for a miracle, I can't stand it! I guess what I'm asking, is, "Is there a chance in hell we can stop that giggling murderer from occupying ex-President Gore and President-Elect Kerry's house?

1. personally
i think the best possible outcome from a voter fraud issue would be the impeachment of bush. Unless this story takes off in the next week or so, the time line will be too short to get a president elect kerry. On the brightside, we may be looking at a nixonian demise for bush

2. Impeachment Not Likely
Let's be real here, the chance of Bushie being impeached is slim to none, and I say that cause even though I am CONVINCED that mass fraud took place, I also feel it is highly unlikely even years from now we will have found that it ultimately linked back to his hands, or at least decisively enough to convict.

Way I look at it right now, Nader could be our savior ultimately. He is the only one in the Media lights right now that is openly not only challenging results on a recount level, but is even challenging John Kerry directly. We should all be writing him like mad to keep the pressure on to validate democracy's core values. WIth all the things going on right now, the thing I'm hoping for most is a New Hampshire recount to go forward with results of significant discrepancies. That would probably get the ball rolling nicely.

3. Better than wrirting Nader, IMO
is spreading the word to ALL our friends, relatives, bloggers, etc.

Here's a compendium of DU links (with some real gold buried among quite a few lumps of coal):

And here are the original Nader threads (which are also included above, under New Hampshire):

5. Eloriel, I agree

Sorry for not clarifying that. ABSOLUTELY spreading the word to friends, family etc, it is the number one thing each of us should be doing! I definitely don't want to discount that. I myself have gotten the word out as much as I can and will continue to do so, even while faced with what many of you on here have faced as well, which is Bush like smirks from certain audiences.

12. We have to impeach both of them...I wouldn't want Cheney in there
all by himself...or Denny Hastert for that matter, who'd follow Cheney, right?

4. Lots of fighting going on..it looks hopeless but I'm heartened by the
people that are so hurt by Kerry, by those that believe in him, and by those that don't care and are going after it themselves.

We are the Democracy, afterall.

Pay attention to the NH recount.

6. Overloaded as well.. but hopeful

This is my first post on DU- woo!

I've been reading the DU forums for a while but up until the last couple days was able to last for more than 10 minutes without reloading and reading all the new posts. This votergate scandal has left me incredibly frustrated, anxious, and a little bit excited.

I agree that the information we've seen is increasingly overwhelming. I've been telling everyone I know about the blatant instances of fraud but in doing so am often wishing I could point them to a single website with an organized, airtight, and SUCCINCT case that spells out every major accusation at a high level with links to delve in deeper.

Perhaps that will or could be an output of nodehopper's efforts this evening?

I know there has been an amazing amount of data, statistics, and anectodes thrown around, and I'm sure some will eventually be justifiably explained away. However, there have been so many incredibly compelling revelations that I just can't imagine that there has not been multiple instances of major (and perhaps systematic) fraud.

Since a major news source seems unwilling to parse and vet all this information, it looks like the onus is on those that have uncovered it. Thank you all for what you are doing. I will continue to read and be hopeful...

14. I don't think impeachment could happen
Unfortunately BU$H is so stupid he could easily pretend he had no idea about this, and people will believe him. Without actual concrete, physical proof that he did know, the GOP House or Senate will never touch this.
My gut tells me the obvious, that once BU$H is inaugurated, that's it. We're fucked again. It's a sickening feeling and I hope I'm wrong.

13. For the last 4 years the WH has tried to paint any critic or whistle
blower as crazy. They have done this quite effectively with the mainstream media. I don't expect to see any change in the MSM now. Peter Jennings proved that with his sarcastic and condensending tone when he spoke about efforts to check into voter fraud. I suspect they (MSM) are happy with the results, and would be jumping on the bandwagon if results were reversed. They are trying to scare people away from believing in questioning the election by painting the challengers out to be wackos. Don't fall for it. Hopefully the results will be proven one way or another. The results are being questioned because of many problems reported across the country. The responsible citizens are the ones searching to find out what happened so at the very least problems won't happen again, and at the very worst expose fraud.
