6. Then let's make it "Electoral Revolt" >>> VOTER
The concept of revolt certainly garners more attention than reform.

And in my view it's also more accurate.

2. The name must include either election or voting
otherwise it's too vague. Therefore I like Election Justice Coalition (EJC) or Voting Rights Coalition (VRC).

5. It's going well, considering :-)
We're having a more typical spring, meaning wide-ranging weather.

We had a rally on Wednesday to preserve the filibuster -- and it hailed!

Any plans underway for another national action on election reform?

7. Trying to generate united interest in...

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=203x364012#364101

I can't do much to have this happen since I am working again at about 133% of my time (yuck!). So, I'm trying to garner united, coordinated interest, first in the idea, then in getting local activists to provide the logistics and volunteers for the events.

10. Why Can't We Count?
Citizens Coalition for Honest Elections

We the People of America are united
only when our voices can
be heard through our vote.
We are tired of the voter suppression so
rampant across our country designed
to keep us from voting.
We are fed up with the fact that voting is allowed on
machines without a record of the voters intent
We question the honesty of the vote count as
machines tabulate without adequate
hand count verfication.
We understand that the right to vote
and the right to count our vote
is the key to our democracy
and our faith in america.
We intend to illuminate all problems
with our voting system,
support legislative and legal actions
undertaken,and encourage citizen action
in our quest for accessable open transparent
and honest elections.
We will count.

11. another thought. United for Peace and Justice has done a great
job of being a connection point for peace groups.

Maybe we need a "United for Transparent Elections" coalition.

And one day we can coalesce with United for Peace and Justice and simple become

United for America.
