These Ohio ballot initiatives need help.

The anti-reform group "Ohio First" was incorporated in Delaware. Big $$$ are coming from outside Ohio to kill these common sense proposals. Our convicted Governor opposes reform because he doesn't think there is a problem in Ohio. Contribute if you can.

Ohio has always been a great state, but times are tough. Ohio leads the country in job losses, and young people are leaving in droves. Our capitol is racked by numerous scandals, and elected officials still pander to big donors and ignore working people.

But now there's something we can do about it.

Vote YES on Issues 2, 3, 4, & 5 on November 8 - real, common-sense reforms to take our state back from the politicians who have failed us:

Issue 2: Makes it easier to vote by allowing all Ohioans to vote by mail
Issue 3: Helps stop the influence of big money in elections by greatly reducing campaign contributions.
Issue 4: Stops the politicians from drawing their own legislative districts and puts an Independent Commission in charge of this process.
Issue 5: Places a bi-partisan Board of Supervisors in charge of Ohio's elections, instead of a partisan official who backs candidates and takes sides in elections.
Reform Ohio Now, a non-partisan group, is working with thousands of volunteers across the state to pass these reforms. The Canton Repository called us "fresh air in the stale room that has become state government." But we can't do it without your help, so get involved today.

1. I grew up in this state....left for many years.....and now I

am back. And what a mess!

I have been working on RON! This is so much more important than the Hackett campaign...but DUers seem to prefer the ride on the Reagan Democrat train than TRUE REFORM.....!

We got up early this morning and handed out RON flyers to people who were completing the Walk for Breast Cancer in Cincinnati. I believe we educated some voters on Issues 2,3,4, and 5.

This is true ELECTION REFORM IN OHIO....I don't see any out-of-staters helping us on this....but you come to help a man who bragged about carrying 80 pounds on his back as he kicked in doors in Fallujah.....To this day, I will never understand how this qualifies him to be an Ohio Senator.

2. The Senatorial Campaign is a ways off.

Whether folks support Hackett or Brown they should support these initiatives now. Let's focus on 2005 before we get to 2006.

These will help assure fair elections in Ohio - now and in the future. In fact repugs in Ohio should support them because we could soon have a Dem Governor, SOS, and Senator. I'd bet fairness sounds more attractive to them in that context.
