8. Amy had a guest in her Democracy Now show from Rome today who also kicked |
|
@ss re: the corporate media ... It must have felt good for Amy to hear someone else say what she has been saying for a long time now AND it must have recharged her batteries. I didn't know she was going to be on Hardball. I've stopped watching the CNN, MSNB, crowd, but had I known she was going to be on, I would have watched it.
Do you think it made a dent in Chris Matthews' @ss kissing of the corporate and bush run media?

9. Yeah, I saw that this morning. |

That Berlusconi is some piece of work, he owns all the Italian media and he's the head of the government. What a racket! And he's IN THE DOCK for corruption charges while in office.

Edited on Wed Nov-24-04 10:25 PM by dennis4868
from the SF Chronicle lied....she said that everyone thought that Sadaam had biological and chemical weapons. That is not true. The CIA had serious doubts about this right before the war and warned the WH.
This from the Center of American Progress:
FEBURARY 24, 2003 – CIA WARNS WHITE HOUSE ‘NO DIRECT EVIDENCE’ OF WMD: "A CIA report on proliferation released this week says the intelligence community has no ‘direct evidence’ that Iraq has succeeded in reconstituting its biological, chemical, nuclear or long-range missile programs in the two years since U.N. weapons inspectors left and U.S. planes bombed Iraqi facilities. ‘We do not have any direct evidence that Iraq has used the period since Desert Fox to reconstitute its Weapons of Mass Destruction programs,’ said the agency in its semi-annual report on proliferation activities."

I sent the following email to MSNBC team:
Some stories are hard to tell but it about time some real reporting come out of the Iraq War. Thank you Kevin Sites for the courage to be real in your reporting the news. By the way loved your letter to the people, honest and sincere, it was your responibility, he was a human being too.
Amy, thank you for being out there and informed, out spoken in your views, and being a strong example for the rest of us women to live up to. Keep those great reports coming, story before beauty.
Keith, thank you for your covering the story with the eye of seeking the truth behind the door. That is what journalism is about right ?? You are what folk heros are created from, the bloggers just love you. You are fighting for the under dog and you are brave to do so.
Zogby exit polls have up to this point been right on and I will continue to believe they are today. I do agree that we need to get to the bottom of elections problems. No faith in this system is why many Americans do not even vote. I am glad to see that there are some braves souls who are willing to put on those boxer gloves and punch it out, whether it be black & blue or red/white/blue.
