Boycott ABC for continuing to force drug abuser, criminal, racist Rush Limbaugh down our throats.
First they tried to put this loser on Monday Night Football. (Look how that turned out--Monday Night Football is no longer on broadcast TV.)

This monster has no business on ANY media outlet let alone broadcast TV.

We can certainly say a lot about Barbara Walters (her recent book told us exactly what she is. Check out google, there are some really nasty comments about her.)

Boycott: All ABC local affiliates, ESPN, Disney. Maybe they will get the message that Americans do not want Rush Limbaugh to continue to tear down America.

3. 58 million people voted for McCain
Edited on Wed Nov-19-08 12:53 PM by ben_meyers
Limbaugh claims an audience of 20 million a week.

67 million people voted Obama,

Progressive radio hardly shows up in the ratings in most markets.

It's going to take legislation to throttle Limbaugh because ratings=dollars in the broadcast business.

4. Big problem
One of the big problems progressive radio has is that the people backing the Limbaughs and Hannitys were smart when they first started and made sure to buy up or contract with the biggest radio stations in the different cities they wanted to establish a presence. That left people like Air America to try to get a hold by contracting with stations that have a limited listnership and don't cover wide areas of the country. I live in Northern Vermont and the east side of Lake Champlain and as far as consistent progressive radio the only station I have found is one out of Buffalo, NY that comes in most of the time but at other times disappears altogether. One channel carries Stephanie Miller but thats it as far as politcally based talk radio. So if you like political talk radio the only people you can get where the signal is clear and consistent is right wing radio. Also the conservatives are not above buying up stations that carry progressive programs and converting them to some other format. The cards are stacked against the progressive radio programs so no wonder their 'ratings' are poor.

5. Here we go again.....
Look, Lim****h is indeed an asshole but a boycott is a waste of time because you will never get enough people to make a dent in the huge revenue he brings in. The best thing you can do is ignore him. Every time you post something with R*sh's name in it you create Goggle fodder. Don't listen, don't even mention his name. The only way he goes away is when he becomes irrelevant.

6. Sweetie, their season has been so bad, they wouldn't know why you aren't watching.
There are so many good reasons.

8. agreed
he loves it when people talk about shutting him down and it only further entrenches his supporters. Change the channel or put a CD in. HE ISN'T WORTH IT!!

7. Trouble is ABC Radio Networks isn't owned by Disney anymore.
It's Citadel who owns 'em now. ESPN and Disney are still owned by Disney.

Plus Rush is syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks, a subsidiary of Clear Channel.
