okay, i'll fess up. My old SO is a big WV fan, and she gets a kick out of it when i email her with congrats, etc after the games.

4. They beat #2 Wake Forest in double OT to make it to the Sweet 16

They've also been on a tear lately, as they were a bubble team before the BE tournament, then won 3 in a row to make the final (where they played Syracuse fairly close). They beat Creighton on a blocked shot which led to a dunk, then beat Wake in double OT this past Saturday to move to the Sweet 16. They're a team of average talent, but can shoot the ball well, play smart, and play good defense.

That MARSHALL BEAT WVU this season don't you??

However this MU Fan is pulling for the 'EERS tonight. REALLY enjoy the way they play the game, and their coach and players seem very humble and likeable to me. Plus I got drunk with Pittsnoggle once after his Freshman year at WVU. Good dude.

9. Wow, the Mountaineers move on again

Sloppy game offensively for both teams, but glad to see WVU move on. I would have never guessed that WVU (and Nova) would be carrying the BE on their backs in the tournament. With WVU playing UL, the (next year's) BE is guaranteed to have one Final 4 team.

Arizona looked good as well, and I still don't know how they've gone under the radar. Hopefully they can take out UI tommorow. Duke-MSU tonight should also be a pretty good game.
