Baseball Teams and Foreign Countries

I think there is a good amount of talk about the poverty of countries like the Dominican Republic, from which a number of baseball players come from. Should baseball do more to help relieve the poverty in those countries? Should baseball teams try to build schools in those countries and make life better for the people of those countries?
