In the conference finals for the sixth year in a row! Tying a Lakers record. But...will the national media notice or care? Nooooooo..... It's Celtics-Lakers or nothing with them. Grrr.
But I'm happy -- go Pistons!

They let a very young team, the Magic, get very close to them. A couple point swing and the Pistons would be out. They looked old to me and better win it this year cause they won't be back next.

Of course, it's probably story number 8 on ESPN.com.
But two wins in a row while Chauncey rests, and now he gets a few more days while the Celtics and Cavs duke it out.

The national media doesn't notice, that despite the Pistons very impressive streak, they have relatively little to show for it (1 championship and a trip to the finals). They gave away a second championship against San Antonio, and they blew the series against an unworthy Cavs team. The Laker's dynasty produced, the Pistons on the other hand, not so much.

6. i don't see the Celtics beating the Pistons |

If the Celtics think they can continue to lose all their road games and beat the Pistons and Lakers, they are very, very wrong.

8. Every year since I finished Elementary School, the Pistons have been |

in the Conference Finals. A great accomplishment for their franchise, and a great turnaround from where they had been. I was hoping my Sixers could pull an upset in the 1st round, but I knew that if a situation arose where the Pistons had to play the Celtics in the Conference Finals, I'd pull for Detroit all the way. So assuming that's what happens, Let's Go Pistons!
