I am suggesting this in answer to the following article:
Groups Hold Dueling Pro- and Anti-Gay Days
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050412/ap_on_re_us/dueling_days_2Here is my idea.
During Human Pride Day, we would all celebrate our common identity as Human Beings.
The material would make absolutely no mention of race, religion, orientation, etc.
"On this day we celebrate, reaffirm and take pride in our common heritage and worth as Human Beings."
Period.
That would be the entire Mission Statement and pledge.
That is all that would be on any t-shirt or poster or bumper sticker or button or pledge.
Let's see Dobson try to claim that "Human Being" is a code-word for "homosexual."
